The SensorFINT Conference will be held in Slovenia, a small, but nevertheless beautiful, country with a population of 2 million people spread across 20.000 km2. We will gather at the newly built InnoRenew CoE research institute building (Livade 6a, 6310 Izola, Slovenia), which is the largest wooden building in the nation.
The venue resides in the charming Mediterranean town of Izola, which got its’ name from the word Isola, which means “island” in Italian. Izola will welcome you with its warm climate, calming sea waves, and picturesque streets that can be easily covered on foot. The town connects the Adriatic Sea with the dynamic Karst Region, city vibes with natural surroundings, and old Venetian-era architecture with new tourist infrastructure. Together with the neighbouring cities of Koper, Ankaran, and Piran, it offers appetizing food, lively entertainment, and relaxing beaches.
